Either way, I feel poor with the donkey.

I think this story have a lot of 'hidden message'. Be responsible, don't make a rush decision before check the detail, don't do something cause you expect to have a return and know our limit when doing everything.
Well, we wouldn't know what is going to happen to us next but at least don't do something that need us to carry the guiltiness for our entire like.
